The Business Services Industry Skills Board SA (BSISB) exists to examine, assess, make recommendations and take action on recruitment, retention and skills utilisation issues, with an emphasis on areas of skills shortages, and cognizant of the State Strategic Plan and its emphasis on equity of opportunity.

The work of the Board is, and will continue to be, supported and intricately linked to its industry Reference/Standing Committees. It is the reference committees that are the ‘engine room’ for the Board, providing the industry intelligence and making recommendations on workforce development strategies and approaches.

The work of the Committees and the Board is based upon real world intelligence through relationships with industry, enterprises and regions. It is responsive to industry – one size does not fit all. Information and data is sourced from regional, industry and community sources. This enables better industry workforce planning by policy makers and strategists.

The BSISB industry sectors are:

  • Business Services;
  • Finance;
  • Property & Asset Management;
  • Printing and Graphic Arts; and
  • Education & Training.

More information about the industry sectors and how Business Services Industry Skills Board SA (BSISB) supports them are on the following web-pages.
